Antipolo Councilor Christian Alarcon loves playing basketball, but he is not immune to the risks it poses.
Alarcon injured his left foot while playing a game. He said this happened even if his right foot has not yet fully healed.
But this has not diminished his love for the sport.
In a Facebook post, he acknowledged that basketball is a physical sport, and accidents happen.
But if he would be asked if he would stop playing the game, his answer would be “no.”
It is fun to play basketball because he gets to meet a lot of people. As long as his body could stand it, he would play the game.
But this doesn’t mean he will abuse his body, he added.
He’ll tend to his injury first before getting back on the court!
