Laurel Mayor Lyndon Bruce wants to provide better health services to his constituents by seeking to upgrade the town’s hospital.
Bruce and Municipal Administrator Bienvinido Mayuga met with Director Ariel Valencia of the Department of Health-Center for Health Development to discuss the upgrading of the accreditation of Laurel’s Dr. Ernesto Malabanan Memorial Hospital.
Bruce also hopes to fast track the process.
Upgrading the hospital’s accreditation would allow it to offer more services to the people of Laurel.
The Laurel officials also showed the DOH the Sangguniang Bayan resolution that is seeking additional buildings and equipment for the hospital.
