General Luna Mayor Matt Florido always wanted to build a pathway at the Villarica Elementary School to make it easier for students and teachers to walk or travel to the school.
He finally put the plan into action, and his expectations were exceeded as the concrete pathway that was built was almost like a road.
“Di na sila madudulas kapag tag-ulan, maayos na ang kanilang daan patungo sa kanilang paaralan,” Florido said.
He thanked the barangay officials led by captain Berto Pabelonia, school principal Meriam Romasanta Dirain, the teachers, and the students’ parents for their part in helping make this project a reality.
“Matagal ninyong pinangarap, aming ipinangako at ngayon ay tinupad,” he said.
