Bacoor launches program to provide homes and livelihood to informal settlers

The Bacoor City government has launched a program that aims to help informal settlers to make a living and to find decent homes to improve their lives.

The program is called the Cooperatism Campaign Among Informal Settlers Communities for Housing Community Formation and Livelihood Programs.

It is led by the office of Mayor Strike Revilla and held in cooperation with the Housing Urban, Livelihood Department and Cooperative Development of the city.

The program will provide assistance to informal settlers living near rivers or the sea.

The city government will also work with the Agriculture Sector Cooperative Development Authority, Consumer Sector Operative Development Authority, and Region IV-A Cooperative Development Authority to help them find a source of livelihood as well as proper housing.
