The local government of Infanta has made sure that its students are properly informed and educated about HIV/AIDS.
The local government held an awareness talk about this disease for Grade 12 students of the Infanta National High School.
The discussions also centered on sexually transmitted infections and teenage pregnancy.
There were also presentations that explained to students the importance of abstinence.
The intent of this activity was to make students better informed and to protect them from diseases and unwanted pregnancy, which could be detrimental to their health, the local government said.
