Taytay may be closer to forging closer ties with a city in Korea.
Taytay Mayor Allan de Leon met with Choi You-kak, a member of the Paju City Council, to discuss cooperation between the two local governments.
Paju City is about an hour from Seoul and is in Gyeonggi Province.
De Leon said he and Choi talked about a possible sister/partner LGU agreement between Paju and Taytay.
This would pave the way for exchange and benchmarking activities, possible short term and renewable employments, and outsourcing of supplies of local products, he said.
