Tanauan barangays get training on how to fight fires

The Bureau of Fire in Tanauan has taught Barangay personnel new skills to help them respond to fire incidents in their communities.

The bureau held a three-day Community Fire Auxiliary Group Training in seven barangays recently as part of the observance of Fire Prevention Month.

BFP Tanauan Chief Inspector Rowena Ramos said the training would be very useful in providing an initial response to fire incidents and would help ensure that these are put out more quickly.

The training is also part of Tanauan Mayor Sonny Collantes’ program to help keep his city safe.
