For the first time ever, residents of General Luna will get to watch a senakulo during the observance of Holy Week.
General Luna Mayor Matt Florido announced that he has coordinated with the local government of Sariaya led by Mayor Marcelo Gayeta, the Sariaya Tourism Council and the Sariaya Tourism Dramatic Guild for the staging of the senakulo in the town.
Florido said General Luna residents will be able to watch a world class performance of Jeuss Christ’s ordeal and crucifixion on Good Friday, April 7.
It will be held at the General Luna Central Elementary School Oval, he said.
He invited his constituents to watch it.
“Manood at maging bahagi ng kasaysayan!” he said.
