Binan Rep. Len Alonte was happy to wade into the river to check out the city’s possible new eco-tourism sites.
Alonte visited the Prinza Dam in Barangay Timabo and the Tibagan Falls in Barangay Malamig.
She marveled over the beauty of the place.
People visiting the place wouldn’t think they’re in an industrialized city, she said.
Joining her in the visit were the personnel of the Department of Public Works and Highways’ District Office, who would study the possibility of turning the areas into an eco-tourism zone.
She can’t wait to discover other hidden gems in Biñan!
“Binisita natin kahapon kasama ang ating BCHATO Head, Mr. Bj Borja sa Prinza Dam sa Brgy. Timbao at ang Tibagan Falls sa Brgy. Malamig. Namangha tayo sa ganda ng lugar na hindi mo aakalaing ikaw ay nasa isang lubos na industriyalisadong siyudad. Kasama din natin ang mga kawani ng DPWH District Office upang pag-aralan ang posibilidad na gawin itong eco-tourism zone. Tunay na marami pang lihim ang dapat nating tuklasin sa mga natural na yaman ng ating Lungsod ng Biñan,” Alonte posted.
