Pakil Mayor Vince Soriano congratulated the staff of the Turumba Rural Bank Inc., led by its president Emily Martinez-Someros, after the bank was recognized as the town’s Most Outstanding Taxpayer.
The recognition was given by the Provincial Government ng Laguna as part of the Laguna Business Stakeholders Convention and Innovation Summit.
Soriano said taxpayers like the bank help Pakil to deliver better services to the people.
“Salamat po at dahil sa mga kagaya ninyo ay mas marami tayong nagagawang programa at proyekto para sa ating mga mamamayan,” he said.
Meanwhile, Pakil was also recognized for the award it received from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which named it the Most Business-Friendly LGU in the
3rd to 6th class category in the country.
Soriano hopes that Pakil would be recognized as a city in the future.
