Tanauan Mayor Sonny Collantes wants to make the city eco-friendly and has met with a private company to discuss a renewable energy project.
Collantes welcomed representatives of Alterna Verde to discuss its proposal for the processing of garbage into renewable green energy.
The project is also expected to create job opportunities for the people of Tanauan and to boost the local economy.
Collantes assured his constituents that he is taking steps to ensure the progress of the city.
He is also open to more suggestions from the people.
