The private company that plans to put up the Quezon Wind Power Project in General Nakar is planning to conduct a study in preparation for the establishment of the facility.
Representatives from the Vena Energy Company met with General Nakar Mayor Esee Ruzol to provide updates about the project.
Vena said it is planning to begin its study and put up instruments that would measure the strength of the wind as well as its direction and temperature.
Ruzol declared his support for the project that could provide a source of renewable energy, which is important to the town.
He said the local government would like to pursue projects that would provide a clean and sustainable source of energy.
