Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala’s meeting with the Department of Education turned into a surprise early birthday celebration.
In a Facebook post, Alcala said the meeting with the DepEd turned into a surprise advanced birthday party for him.
He shared photos from the event, which showed him with a wreath on his head and a lei around his neck while he blew out the candles on his cake.
He thanked the DepEd for the gesture and said he would never forget it.
He was happily surprised!
“Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa DepEd Lucena sa isinagawang meeting-turned-surprise advanced birthday party sa akin! Hindi ko ito makakalimutan,” Alcala posted.
