The Lipa City government has informed the public that it is not in any way connected to the fund raising activity of Balisong Channel.
In a Facebook post, the Lipa public information office said Balisong Channel is not part of the Fiesta Executive Committee.
It said the channel’s efforts to raise funds for its coverage of fiesta activities is its own initiative.
Proceeds from their solicitation would not be remitted to the Lipa City government.
