Tanauan City govt to start catching stray dogs on Monday
The Tanauan City government has advised residents to ensure that their pet dogs will not be loitering on the streets beginning Monday.
This is because the City Veterinarian Office would begin catching stray dogs on the streets on September 5, it said.
Owners could get back their dogs from the Tanauan City Veterinarian Office only after paying the P100 fine, it said.
Dogs that won’t be retrieved by their owners could be put up for adoption or subject to euthanasia, it warned.
The city government also said pet owners could register their dogs for P100 and it would be given the anti-rabies vaccine.
