Di lang mema! Taytay Councilor Tobit Cruz says he’s no longer confined to ranting about floods
Taytay Councilor Tobit Cruz used to frequently rant online rants about flooding in the town.
But now Cruz is in a position to do more than that.
In a Facebook post, Cruz shared that he participated in the meeting of the technical working group that was created to address the perennial flooding problem.
It made him realize that he now has the opportunity to find a solution to the things he used to complain about on Facebook.
He vowed not to waste a single moment while he is in office so that he could change the things that frustrate him.
He also called on fellow progressive youths to join the government if they want to bring about change.
it’s time to reclaim politics, he added.
They can do something from within!
“The past years, madalas akong mag-post sa FB Page ko tungkol sa baha. Isa kasi ako sa mga naniniwala na hindi totoong wala na tayong magagawa sa pagbaha dito sa Taytay.
Kanina, I was able to take part in the TWG that was created to address this perennial problem in Taytay.
It dawned on me— ngayon, nasa posisyon na ako para magawan ng solusyon yung mga dating pino-post ko lang at nira-rant sa Facebook.
And I promise not to waste a single moment while I am here, to finally change these frustrating things we see around.
Ito rin ang paulit-ulit kong sasabihin sa mga kapwa kabataang progresibo— kung gusto natin ng pagbabago, makilahok tayo sa gobyerno. Let’s reclaim politics!
” Cruz posted.
