San Pedro begins construction of new medical center

The San Pedro Medical Center would soon rise and become reality.
San Pedro Mayor Art Mercado led the groundbreaking for the facility, which is one of the most important projects he had planned to improve health care.
“Isa sa priorities ng aking administration ang magkaroon tayo ng isang malaki at magandang pampublikong ospital, at accessible healthcare service para sa lahat,” Mercado said.
He said the project was made possible through the taxes that the San Pedro residents pay, and vowed to use the public funds wisely.
“Kaya sisiguraduhin po natin na magagamit ito ng tama para sa pagpapatayo ng SPMC, at ng iba pang future projects ng ating City Government,” he said.
He also asked for understanding and patience as building the new hospital would not be quick or easy.
