Magallanes Councilor Aina Mari Sisante shares the importance of having depth in our lives

Jul 18, 2022 @ 13:42

The recent homily that Magallanes Councilor Aina Mari Sisante struck a chord in her.

Sisante shared the lesson from the sermon in a Facebook post.

The priest reminded the congregation that speed is the opposite of deeps, which she took to mean that we should not just be focused on living a fast-paced life.

She said it is not enough that we are always in a hurry.

We must learn to live a life that has depth, which means having deep connections with our families, loved ones, and the Lord.

To live life to the fullest is to live a life with profound meaning, she said.

Life is not all about speed!

“During this morning’s homily, Father said that SPEED IS THE OPPOSITE OF DEEPS (in spelling). Which meant that, kabaligtaran ng bilis ang lalim.
