Alfonso Vice Mayor Madona Mojica Pel knows very well the value of getting your groove on.
In a Facebook post, Pel shared a video of her showing off her dancing skills.
She also talked about the benefits that dancing brings.
According to her, dancing is a full body exercise.
A 30-minute session could burn 130 to 250 calories, which is almost equivalent to what jogging burns, she said.
She urged her constituents to take care of her health.
And what better way to do it than by going to the dance floor?
“Ang pagsasayaw ay isang napakasayang uri ng pang buong-katawang ehersisyo.
Ang isang 30-minutong pagsasayaw ay sumusunog sa pagitan ng 130 at 250 calories, na halos kapareho ng sa pag-jogging.
Atin pong pahalagahan ang ating kalusugan, Alfonseño!
