Mulanay Mayor Aries Aguirre wants to ensure that local government personnel are serving the public in a pleasant way.
Aguirre has signed an executive order directing local government personnel in Mulanay to adhere to a “Smile Policy” while serving the people.
This is intended to cultivate a friendly atmosphere and show a feeling of calmness, he said in his order.
The mayor wants people to feel that local government personnel are here to serve them.
“Nais ni Mayor Aris L. Aguirre na maramdaman ng mga mamamayan na dapat sila ang totoong pinagsisilbihan ng mga lingkod bayan dahil kapag sinabing ‘Public Servant,’ ikaw ay alipin ng taong bayan,” his office said.
