Pagbilao Vice Mayor Shierre Anne Portes Palicpic was positive for COVID-19 during her oath-taking, so she had to do it remotely.
Palicpic took her oath via videoconferencing, using her cellphone that was on a tripod.
She dressed up for the event and was well-enough to recite her oath.
In a Facebook post, she said her late father also made his presence felt during the event through a butterfly that appeared while she was speaking.
Her father must be very proud of her, she said.
Her oath-taking was truly memorable!
