Former Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula vows to support the town’s new leaders

Jul 4, 2022 @ 8:41

Former Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula has promised to support the good programs of the towns new leaders.

Gacula, in a Facebook post, congratulated Taytay’s new Mayor Allan de Leon and Vice Mayor Pia Cabral.

He said the election is just one day, and they should all work for the development of Taytay.

They should assist all those who need help and put a smile on the faces of the town’s residents, he said.

But Gacula also gave some advice.

He said politics is not for the frail of heart, and those who join it should be strong enough to be stabbed in the back, even by their closest allies.

This is normal in politics, he added.

He shared his thoughts as he posted photos of him with De Leon and Cabral taken in happier times.

May hugot?

“Politics is not for persons with a frail heart. Heartaches are for the weak , so be ready if ever you want to join politics.

You should be strong enough to take a dagger in your back anytime and any place , even from your closest political allies or from people you do not expect it from. That is normal life in politics .

There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics. Only permanent personal interests.

Congratulations Mayor Allan and Vice Pia and to the new leaders of Taytay!

Lets all do our part in making Taytay a better place to live in.

As a private citizen, I will support all good programs of your administration that will be beneficial to all Taytayenyos. Isang araw lang ang election , lets work for the development of our beloved town.

SAGIPIN NATIN ang mga kailangan ng tulong at lagyan natin ng permanenteng NGITI ang bawat Taytayenyo.

MABUHAY ANG TAYTAY!!!” Gacula posted.
