Carmona gets nicotine replacement patches from WHO
The local government of Carmona received a helping hand from the World Health Organization in its effort to stop people from smoking.
Carmona Mayor Dahlia Loyola welcomed a visit from Florante Trinidad, National Professional Officer of the World Health Organization Office of the Representative in the Philippines.
Trinidad provided 2,800 nicotine replacement therapy patches for the Smoking Cessation Clinic of Carmona’s Municipal Health Office, Loyola said.
“Maraming salamat sa iyong pagbisita sa Bayan ng Carmona at sa iyong dalang handog!” she said.
