San Mateo officials want to forge closer cooperation with Quezon City.

Rizal Rep. Jojo Garcia and San Mateo Mayor Omie River met with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte recently to talk about ways to work together and help San Mateo’s progress.

“Ang inyo pong lingkod at si Mayor-elect Omie Rivera ay nakipagpulong kay Mayor Joy Belmonte upang mapagusapan ang mga oportunidad na magbibigay daan sa pag-asenso ng ating bayan at mapagtibay ang pakikipagtulungan ng dalawang bayan,” Garcia said.

Garcia, whose district covers San Mateo, thanked Belmonte for the warm welcome and the support.

“Para sa Bagong San Mateo!” he added.
