San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz bids goodbye to city hall
San Pedro Mayor Lourdes Cataquiz is stepping down after nine years and thanked all those she had worked with during her terms.
Cataquiz shared her farewell message on Facebook.
She said the local government personnel had been her inspiration in serving the people, especially those who are less fortunate.
There is a government so that those who need help would get it, she said.
She also said she and the local government personnel have learned much from each other through the years.
She hoped that they would show her successor the trust, respect, love, and assistance that they had shown her.
We all need to help each other, she said.
She wishes her successor the best!
I hope you learned from me. Sana ay may naibahagi ako sa inyo and I know that I also learned from you. We learned from each other for the betterment of San Pedro.
Good luck and best wishes. God bless us all. Maraming salamat!” Cataquiz posted.
