Taytay Councilor Pia Cabral bids goodbye to her old post
Taytay Councilor Pia Cabral will soon serve as the town’s Vice Mayor, but before leaving her old post, she paid tribute to her years at the council.
In a Facebook post, Cabral said she feels honored and humbled to have served at the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, which has been consistently recognized as one of the premiere municipalities of the Philippines.
She also said she was thankful to her colleagues who taught her valuable lessons on how to overcome challenges and to seek comfort in the Lord.
She owes a lot to Taytay, which nurtured and made her who she is today, she said.
She will always be grateful to her town!
“I am deeply honored, and at the same time humbled, for being a part of the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, which has been consistently recognized as one of the premiere municipality of the Philippines. I am thankful to all my colleagues from whom I have learned valuable lessons in how to face and overcome challenges, and how to seek comfort in God when all seems to be impossible. Indeed, He makes the impossible possible.
Today was our last session for the 11th sangguniang bayan, and as I end my last term as Municipal Councilor, I will always carry with me the municipality to which I owe a lot. Taytay nurtured me and formed me as to who I am today.
Thank you for the trust Taytay. Tuloy po ang ating serbisyo.
#TheExceptionalTaytay,” Cabral posted.
