Cavite River Rangers receive award for Manila Bay cleanup efforts

Cavite’s River Rangers have been honored for their efforts to protect and restore Manila Bay.
The River Ranger teams of Bacoor City, Cavite City, Naic, Kawit, and Noveleta were recognized during the recent Manila BAYani awarding ceremony for their “unwavering dedication, steadfast commitment, and tireless efforts in protecting and restoring Manila Bay.”
Representatives from each local government were present to receive the award.
The awarding ceremony was organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Manila Bay Coordinating Office in partnership with the International Council for Environmental Law Madrid and New York, Normandy Chair for Peace, and Institute for Governance Sustainable Development Washington DC and Paris.
It was held as part of the celebration of Philippine Environment Month, with the theme “Aksyon Para sa Natatanging Mundo.”
