Batangas provincial council welcomes LGBTQIA+ group to its session

The Batangas provincial council has shown its support for the LGBTQIA+ community by welcoming members of the Wagayway Equality, Inc. to one of its sessions recently.
Wagayway Equality, inc.is a community-based organization in Batangas that supports programs about sexual and mental health, sexuality, and human rights of the LGBTQIA+ community and persons with HIV.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan assured the group that it would continue to support the advocacies of the community.
“Binigyang-diin ni 5th District Board Member Claudette Ambida, kasama ang lahat ng mga bumubuo ng SP, na kaisa sila at buong pusong sumusuporta sa mga adbokasiya ng nasabing organisasyon at lahat ng mga grupo o samahan ng LGBTQIA+ sa Lalawigan ng Batangas upang mas lalong makilala ang kanilang mga magagandang ambag sa komunidad,” the Batangas public information office said.
