Lucena to have first solar fertigation system in Quezon

Preparations are underway for Lucena City to have the first solar fertigation system in all of Quezon.
Fertigation refers to the process of running fertilizer through irrigation water.
The City Agriculturist Office led by Arween Flores, City Administrator Ancaleto Alcala Jr. and partner agencies met to discuss the implementation of the project, according to the Lucena public information office.
“Tinalakay sa naging pagpupulong ang pre-contruction ng Solar Power Fertigation System o SPFS kung saan ay nagkakahalaga ng mahigit isang milyong piso per solar system,” it said.
They also visited the beneficiaries of the project.
