Incoming Taytay Mayor Allan de Leon requests meeting with the local government’s transition team
Allan de Leon is getting ready to serve as Taytay Mayor next momth, and he has written to incumbent Mayor Joric Gacula to request for a meeting the with local governance transition team.
In the letter, which De Leon shared on Facebook, he asked that the meeting be held on or before June 15.
He also asked that several documents be prepared in advance for the meeting.
These include the Governance Assessment Report, the Commission on Audit report, contracts and loans agreements, the LGU results matrices, and full disclosure policy documents.
“We need the full cooperation of your LGTT in order to ensure the effective turnover and continuity of local governance in our beloved municipality. We hope that you will give full attention to this request in order for the Municipal Government of Taytay to have a smooth and peaceful transition,” he said in the letter.
