Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares hails minimum wage hike in Region IV-A
Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares is very excited for the workers of Region IV-A.
Ynares had long been pushing for a wage increase for workers in the region, and this finally came true.
In a Facebook post, Ynares praised the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board after it approved an increase of P47 to P97 for minimum wage workers.
Her prayers had been effective, she said.
“Sabi naman sa inyo, konting paggalaw lang ng baso at maraming dasal, maibibigay din ang ating hiling na dagdag,” she said.
Her desired amount may not have been granted, but the P97 increase is still something to be thankful for, she said.
