Pakil to get new public high school

Pakil Mayor Vince Soriano’s dream of having a high school in his town’s Barangay Saray is coming true.
On Facebook, Soriano said the public high school would be in place during the next school year.
As per his agreement with officials, the local government would temporarily hire and deploy two teachers to the school while the Department of Education has no teaching slots yet for it.
“Isa po ito sa ating pangarap para sa kaalwanan ng ating mga mag-aaral sa nasabing Barangay,” he said on Facebook.
The new high school would mean that residents of Barangay Saray would no longer need to enroll in schools in Pangil, he said.
