Tanay to get local LTE base station courtesy of the DOST

Internet connection is expected to improve in Tanay with the construction of the LokalLTE Base Station in town.
This is part of the Resilient Education Information Infrastructure for the New Normal or Project REIINN of the Department of Science and Technology, which seeks to provide access to the internet and information in unserved and underserved areas.
Tanay’s local LTE station will be in Barangay San Andres.
“Ang LokalLTE Base Station ay makakatulong hindi lamang sa mga estudyante kundi maging sa pamayanan ng barangay na magkaroon ng access sa Internet,” the Tanay local government said on Facebook.
It thanked the DOST for choosing one of its barangays for the project.
It hoped for similar projects for its residents in the future.
