It’s time for chess wizards in Alitagtag to brush up on their strategies.

The local government will be hosting the Alitagtag Chess Tournament on June 5 to showcase its talented players.

It also aims to form a group that would further enhance their skills.

“Layunin nitong maitampok ang natatanging kakayahan at talino ng ating mga kababayan sa larangan ng chess, at makabuo ng isang grupo na magpapaunlad ng kanilang talento,” the Alitagtag local government said on Facebook.

Those who want to participate could sign up until May 31.
