Santa Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas sticks to strict health protocols

May 28, 2022 @ 10:08

Even if restrictions have been eased, Santa Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas continues to adhere to strict health protocols when carrying out her duties.

In a Facebook post, Arcillas shared that before she visited schools and distributed school items and raincoats to students, she and her companions underwent various health protocols.

These include swab antigen testing, sanitizing, and following the arrows for proper physical distancing, she said.

After observing these measures, she distributed the items that the students could use for the resumption of face to face classes.

She’s not taking any chances!

“My Tuesday (May 24)

New normal ( limited face to face classes ) but continuous programs & projects.

Visiting our schools & our students always make me smile but now there are certain safety protocols I imposed on myself & my companions before the school bags with school items & raincoats distribution to our grade 1 pupils of Balibago Elementary School including swab antigen testing, sanitizing and following arrows for social distancing.

Our schoolbags, school items & ( for a couple of years now) raincoats distribution for our grade 1 pupils for all public schools is a project of Santa Rosa’s Schools Division & Office of the City Mayor and is being implemented for I think a couple of decades now and even during the pandemic, I made sure that still our grade 1 students get their bags & other items.

Thanks to Mam Jonah Castrillo, our teachers & PTA,” Arcillas posted.
