COVID-19 infection strengthened his faith, says Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla

May 28, 2022 @ 10:13

Testing positive for COVID-19 has taught Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla a lot of lessons.

In a Facebook post, Revila said his infection showed him the importance of faith in the Lord, of compassion for family and friends, and of being careful.

He said he and his wife Chaye, who also tested positive, are just grateful that they have been vaccinated and boosted.

Being vaccinated does not mean one will never get infected, but it prevents severe symptoms, like in their case, he said.

He thanked all those who prayed for their healing and who sent good wishes and food.

He appreciates their concern, and assured them that he and his wife are doing well.

We are relieved and thankful also that we are fully-vaccinated and have had our booster shots.

Ingat po tayong lahat, and may God bless us all.

Happy and safe weekend po.
