Silang Vice Mayor Aidel Belamide recalls his artista past
Not many know that Silang Vice Mayor Aidel Belamide used to be an actor.
But Belamide has now shared a glimpse of this aspect of his life.
In a Facebook post, he said that when he was younger, he acted in theater and on TV.
When he was in high school, he played the role of Jose Rizal in plays staged by the Cavite Institute and of the Noemi Mopia Productions.
He also appeared in the ABS-CBN show Wansapanataym.
Even after 20 years, he is still benefiting from the lessons he learned from these experiences, he said.
He has also maintained the friendships he made during his time.
Can we call him an artista-turned-politiko?
