Gumaca Mayor Webster Letargo meets with SMC reps, agree to consultations for toll road project

Gumaca Mayor Webster Letargo recently met with representatives of San Miguel Corporation to discuss the implementation of the South Luzon Expressway Toll Road 5 project.
The project will be funded by the SMC and will be a superhighway that will begin in Lucena City and end in Legazpi City, Albay, according to the Gumaca local government.
The road project will pass through several towns in Quezon, including Gumaca, which will be its last exit.
Since it will traverse 11 barangays in Gumaca, the SMC and Gumaca officials agreed to hold consultations and present the project to the officials of the affected barangays.
The Gumaca local government has a positive view of the project.
“Ang mga proyektong inprastraktura ng gobyerno ay mahalagang paraan sa pag-unlad ng mga kanayunan. Hindi lamang ito makatutulong upang maibsan ang pagsisikip ng trapiko kundi na rin upang madaling maiparating ang mga proyekto at serbisyo para sa bawat Pilipino,” it said.
