San Pascual honors two ancestral houses
The local government of San Pascual joined the observance of National Heritage Month by honoring two ancestral houses that have been recognized as such by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
One of these is the Bahay Ancestral ng Fider or Hagdang Pulang Bato, which is 100 years old and located in Poblacion.
It is owned by Eden and Chito Alcantara.
The other is the Pamanang Bahay ng Caraan or Caraan Heritage House, which is more than 50 years old and is located in Ilat South.
It is managed by Atty. Gaile Dante Caraan.
The San Pascual local government said these two houses should be preserved and cared for as they are local treasures.
