Incoming Los Baños Mayor Ton Genuino will focus on keeping the municipality clean when he assumes office.
But this early, Genuino is encouraging residents to keep the streets free of trash.
He has placed modern trash binds in key areas in Barangay Batong Malake to discourage littering.
“Hatid nito’y iwas dumi, polusyon at sakuna gaya ng pagbabara ng mga drainage system at baha,” he said on Facebook.
More of these would be deployed in the coming days, he said.
“Muli, mas marami pa tayong ipupwestong Modern Trash Bins sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Los Baños. Abangan, mga Ka-ElBi!” he said.
