Incoming Mulanay Mayor Aris Aguirre promises better connectivity, more cell sites during his term
When Aris Aguirre sits as Mulanay mayor next month, one of the things he would prioritize is improved connectivity, and he would do this by paving the way for the construction of more cell sites.
Aguirre recently met with Globe Telecom’s cell site contractor and gave assurance that the process of constructing a communications tower would be expedited.
The cell sites are expected to provide internet connection in several barangays in the town.
Aguirre had made it a campaign promise to improve the internet connection in Mulanay.
When he learned that applications for putting up two cell sites have not been acted upon, he set up a meeting to ensure that the process would be fast-tracked.
The mayor promised that applications for cell sites would be approved as long as these comply with requirements provided for under the law and local ordinances.
