General Nakar to hold inter-barangay basketball and volleyball games next month

Sports fans in General Nakar won’t have to wait long to enjoy games in the town once more.
Inter-barangay basketball and volleyball games would be held in General Nakar beginning June 1, the local government announced.
These will be organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan and supported by Mayor Esee Ruzol.
There will be two age brackets for the basketball games, and each barangay may field up to two teams for each bracket.
For the volleyball games, there will be a boys division and a girls division, and each barangay may field one team per division.
Players must be legitimate residents of the barangays and must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
“Inaasahan ang patuloy pa rin na pagtalima sa minimum health standards upang manatili tayong ligtas,” the local government said.
Deadline for submission of the line up is on May 23.
