Cavitex to have new toll rates beginning May 22

Heads up, motorists!
The new toll rates for CAVITEX R-1 will take effect on May 22, the Philippine Information Agency-Cavite reported.
Motorists going through the CAVITEX R-1 segment will be charged P33 for class 1 vehicles, P67 for class 2 vehicles, and P100 for class 3 vehicles, it said.
It said the toll rate increase was deferred from May 12 to May 22 in order to give public utility vehicle drivers and operators more time to register in the toll reprieve program.
The program will allow them to continue to enjoy the old toll rates.
