Incoming Laguna BM Danzel Fernandez is helping put campaign tarpaulins to good use.

After the polls were over, Fernandez collected tarpaulins around the province and donated them to Anahaw Laguna, an environment-friendly group that aims to upcycle the campaign materials to reduce waste.

In a Facebook, Fernandez said he delivered the tarpaulins to the group, and thanked it for its initiative.

He has more tarpaulins as well as pieces of wood in his possession for those who want to recycle these, he said.

“Mayroon pa po kaming mga tarpulin na nabaklas kasama ang mga kaunting kahoy. Sa mga interisado na kumuha, mag comment lang po kayo. Magpopost kami ng mga detalye tungkol dito,” he said.
