New sports facilities to rise in Antipolo
Antipolo athletes will soon have new facilities where they could play and hone their skills.
Antipolo Mayor Andrea Ynares led the groundbreaking for the city’s new sports facility building in barangay San Isidro.
Ynares also said that a three-storey sports hub center would rise in Barangay Mayamot, courtesy of Agimat party list.
These facilities would provide additional space for the training of the city’s thousands of athletes in various sports, such as boxing, basketball, volleyball, badminton, mixed martial arts, karate, taekwondo, judo, gymnastics, E-sports, and sports dancing.
Ynares said the lessons would be free.
The city would hire coaches for each sport, she said.
