Taytay candidates Pia Cabral, Allan de Leon get President Duterte’s endorsement

Taytay mayoralty candidate Allan de Leon and running mate Pia Cabral have secured President Duterte’s support in their bid to challenge the incumbent officials of the municipality.
Mr. Duterte endorsed the tandem in a video that Cabral shared on Facebook.
Mr. Duterte said they helped him win in 2016, and he wants to repay the favor.
“Mga mahal kong mga kapatid sa Taytay, wag ninyong kalimutan si Pia at saka si Allan kasi sila yung nagtulong sa akin na ako maging Presidente. Utang na loob ko. Tulugnan ninyo akong bayaran,” he said.
Cabral said she was fortunate to be given the chance to be friends with the President and to get his support.
“Maraming Salamat po President Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa inyong muling pagendorso sa inyong lingkod bilang Vice Mayor sa bayan ng Taytay,” she said.
