Cabuyao residents graduate from milk tea and shake training

A total of 200 Cabuyao residents are now armed with new skills to open their own business.
The residents graduated from the milk tea and shake training course under the Basic Entrepreneurial Training and Technology Enterprise Resources (BETTER) program.
The training was led by the Cabuyao Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office and held at the Cabuyao Institute of Technology.
Cabuyao Mayor Mel Gecolea hailed the residents for completing the training sessions which would help them earn a living.
“Gaya po ng ating palaging sinasabi, ‘Kapag binigyan mo ng isda ang tao, makakakain siya ng isang araw, pero kapag tinuruan mo siyang mangisda, makakakain siya habambuhay,’” he said.
The BETTER program seeks to provide Cabuyao residents with useful skills to help them become entrepreneurs, he said.
