Free chest x-rays available to Antipolo residents
Antipolo residents who want to check on the condition of their chests could avail themselves of free x-rays, Mayor Andrea Ynares announced.
The free service is being offered by the Philippine Business for Social Progress in cooperation with the Culion Foundation, ACCESS TB, the Department of Health in Calabarzon and the Antipolo City Health Office
The x-rays are part of their Active Case Finding Program for tuberculosis, said Ynares.
“Layunin ng programang ito na pababain ang kaso ng namamatay sa TB sa pamamagitan ng screening sa lahat, lalo na sa mga high-risk gaya ng mga minamahal po nating mga senior citizens, people with HIV, diabetes, PWDs, smoker at drivers (jeepney and tricycle),” she said on Facebook.
The mobile clinic would visit different barangays in Antipolo from April to November this year.
Those who are interested to participate could check the schedule of the clinic’s visit to their barangay.
