Calabarzon wage board sets public consultation on minimum wage issues
The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – IVA is set to hold virtual public consultations in the provinces of Quezon and Laguna to get workers’ sentiments on the proposed minimum wage increase.
The virtual consultations for Quezon will be held on April 28 and 29 for members of the formal sector, and on May 2 for the kasambahay sector.
The virtual consultations for Laguna will be on May 4 and 5 for the formal sector, and on May 6 for the kasambahay.
The wage board said the discussion would tackle proposals to increase wages by P25 or P70, or increase it to P750.
It urged those who are interested to participate to register for the event online.
“We encourage everyone to register in advance as we only have limited slots,” it said.
