Los Baños LGU teams up with UPLB for environmental programs

The Los Baños local government is committed to protecting the environment and has teamed up with the University of the Philippines- Los Baños to tap its expertise for this endeavor.
The local government has signed a letter of commitment with the UPLB-School of Environmental Science and Management, which would provide technical assistance and experts’ advise to Los Baños in the formulation of environmental plans.
The partnership also seeks to capacitate the local government in the area of environmental governance.
“This partnership is a step of SESAM to capture sustainability and drive positive action through advocating, educating and sharing of knowledge and skills to its partners and stakeholders,” the Los Baños government said on Facebook.
